Octopus Crochet Pattern

I just got back from the Georgia Aquarium and have been looking for ocean creature crochet patterns since. Found this miniature octopus pattern on the Wunderkammer blog. Looks pretty simple and quick to make, I’d like to make some other creatures you would find in an aquarium and make a collection.

DIY Wedding Table Decorations

Planning a wedding and need some easy DIY table decorations? I found this really cool idea on casasugar. This idea is so simple and cute. If you get engraved wine glasses they could even be used as a gift for guests to take home. You could probably find even cheaper lampshades at a party store, dress the lamp shade up with some beads or flowers and you have a nice decoration.

Hand Knitted Wall Clock

I found this really cool knitted clock on Freshly Blended’s flickr page. This clock was created by Diamantini & Domeniconi you can find their website at www.diamantinidomeniconi.it. Just by the looks of it, seems like this would be somewhat easy to accomplish yourself. If you are good with creating your own knitted patterns. You could probably buy a cheap plastic clock from Target, take out the clear plastic part, try and stretch the pattern over the clock. Or there are some websites and stores that sell clock kits that are pretty cheap. I would love to try this.

Thanksgiving Turkey Crochet Pattern

The author of the bittersweet blog is very talented with cooking and crocheting. Here you can find a pattern on how to crochet a Thanksgiving turkey. This would be great for a centerpiece, maybe add a cornucopia with vegetables and fruits. You can also find many recipes for some to die for sweets! I know it’s a little early for Thanksgiving but sometimes these projects take a long time to finish.

Tiny Amigurumi

I came across this amazing amigurumi artist on flickr, MUFFA. She makes tiny, really tiny animals! Check out her stuff, I’d love to try this for one of my next projects. You can even purchase some of her animals on etsy.com. My hands are small enough and I have patients I might be able to do it.
