Heart of Stones Ice Craft

If you live somewhere in the world where there is snow right now these ice crafts would be a good way to pass some time and create something out of what nature has brought. I unfortunately live in the south and can’t partake in something like this. Resurrection Fern has come up with some really neat ice crafts. This frozen Heart of Stones is just one of them. She has posted a step by step tutorial on how to create this.

Rose Ice Cubes

Add some extra romance to your Valentine’s evening with some rose ice cubes! Jonathan Fong Style has all the details on how to create these beautiful ice cubes. They are actually meant to cool your wine bottle and not to be put into your drink.

What you’ll need to create these are 12 spray roses small, 12 twist ties, 2 wooden skewers, one ice tray and floral tape. The skewers are to keep the roses submerged in order to become frozen.

Rose ice cubes would also look very fabulous at a wedding, bridal shower, or any party where you want to impress your friends.

DIY Whimsical Chandelier

I love the leopard print with the orange holders and the intricate beaded flowers. The best part is you can learn how to create your own whimsical chandelier just like this over at The Flirty Guide.

Brown Paper Packages

I am always looking for new ways to package the crafts that I give away or sell. Craftstylish has a bunch of different tutorials for packaging made from paper bags all tied up with string! There are templates for you to print out, then use a hole puncher and thread the ribbon through. I have plenty of brown paper bags and they are pretty inexpensive. Now I have to go back to Michaels and purchase that cheap ribbon I passed up last week, no I have a use for it!
