Braided rugs reminde me of camping, I remember having one of these rugs out in front of the tent. Little House in the Suburbs has posted a tutorial on how to create a No Sew Rustic Braided Rug. You could reuse some old t-shirts for this project.

Have you ever heard of a Bento Box? Well, I keep seeing these amazing lunch creations all over and I’ve been wanting to know how to make an official Bento Box myself. I finally found a great step-by-step tutorial over at Instructables posted by the author clamoring. There are actual rules to creating a Bento and accessories. To get some inspiration check out the Flickr group bento boxes.
Make these cute Spring Chicken Pops from Bakerella. Easter is coming up and Ckicken Pops would be a cute addition to those Easter baskets. Follow the tutorial over at Bakerella to make these cute goodies. I like how she used flower sprinkles for the chicken feet, so adorable!
If you save your newspaper to recycle why not create something you can re-use out of it yourself? GreenUPGRADER has a tutorial on how you can actually handspin newspaper into yarn. Newspaper can be durable enough to construct a rug out of it. I’m sure this project would take a lot of patience, but the tools used to get it done are very minimal. Whatever you end up making from it would make for a nice conversation piece.
