Pine Cone Bird Feeder

I now have a backyard and have been trying to grow some grass and create a garden. A bird feeder would complete my garden and this diy Pine Cone Bird Feeder would make a great addition. This is another craft I remember creating when I was little. You spread some peanutbutter on a pine cone, sprinkle bird seed on it, tie a string to it and find a branch to hang it from. Hopefully the birds will get to it before the squirrels. You can find a video tutorial over at Makes and Takes.

All you need to do is go out and shoot a panography. Stitch all your pictures together and stick to a ceiling.

I love crocheting and crocheting tiny things is my favorite. You can probably join enough flowers to make into a coaster, pot holder or to frame.

The blog is in Italian but the tutorial has step by step detailed pictures, which shouldn’t be hard to figure out if you don’t know the Italian language. These bows are beautiful, put one of these on a gift and no one will believe that you made it yourself!

Toast Art Project

I was on Facebook creating toast art on this Nature’s Own fan page, and it reminded me of a toast art project I did when I was little. I remember using watercolors mixed with milk, painting a goofy face on a piece of bread and toasted it. It was the funnest thing ever. It is a pretty simple concept but there is a tutorial over at Makes and Takes.
