My Own Creation: Tiny Sock Monkey

I’ve created the tiniest amigurumi stuffed animal in my collection yet. This little guy was actually pretty simple, it took me one night to complete since it only took a small amount of yarn. He’s about three inches in height, I think I can do smaller I just need even thinner yarn.

My Own Creation: Hula Hippo

This hippo was one of my first amigurumi creations. I followed the crochet pattern from Lion Brand for Heather the Hippo. I made this back in March and was unhappy with the way I put it together, you could see the stitches where the arms and legs were attached. I finally came up with an idea to make it a hula skirt to hide the stitches, then followed the coconut bra and the lei. I think I’ll make another one!

My Own Creation: Amigurumi Cactus

After seeing these amigurumi cacti all over the internet I decided to take a stab at it and create my own cactus. It was pretty simple and only took me one night to complete. I purchased the mini terracotta pot at target, they were selling seed kits and I bought a sunflower kit for $1. Well the sunflower grew out of the pot pretty quickly so I used the empty pot for this project.

My Own Creation: Cute Amigurumi Rat

Check out my latest creation! I just worked on this lovely rat this week and she’s for sale on my etsy shop. She was really fun to make because I wanted to make her really cute, opposite of what a rat really is, if you’re not a rat person. I’m not sure what I’m going to make next…maybe my cat. I’ll be sure to post it up on here for you all to see.
