Children’s Rainbow Fabric Book

Fiskars Craft has a great tutorial on how to make a children’s book out of fabric. Since my sister had a baby I’m always thinking of special handmade gifts I can make for my nephew. I absolutely love this idea! You could make an alphabet book, animal book all kinds. Jo-Ann Fabrics sells fabric quarters in all different colors and patterns, I’ve also noticed a huge selection of fabric quarters at my local fabric shop as well. This would be a book to stand out among all the others in your child’s collection.

DIY Photo Bookmark

If you are a book worm you’ll love this tutorial. Photojojo has a neat tutorial on how to make a photo bookmark. You can pick out your favorite picture of a full person or even pet and use it as a bookmark. All you need are scissors, photo paper, transparent tape, glue and flat magnets. I’m always using whatever piece of paper I can find that’s closest to me like a receipt sometimes pens this will be even better to have an actual bookmark.
