How About Orange came up with this neat way to make a small gift bag from an envelope. If you have some extra envelopes kicking around and you need a gift bag, this is a great way to use up those envelopes and get crafty. You can print a design on your envelope before you create the bag to personalize it.
Summer is getting closer and closer, time to start making your beach tote. The warm weather here in Florida is just around the corner. Film in the Fridge created this cute beach bag and posted a step by step tutorial. All you’ll need is four dish towels for the fabric and some thread. This bag is probably big enough to carry two beach towels, sun screen and your favorite novel.
Zakka Life has come up with this cute leaf drawstring bag tutorial. This would be a fun project for a child or a sewing beginner. You could bring this with you on a hike and collect interesting rocks or twigs to use for another craft project.
How cool is this tote bag?! “Why didn’t I think of that?!” Unfortunately I couldn’t find a tutorial, but I’m sure it could be pretty easy to recreate. I found it on Crafster, the artist is Obudah. Maybe if you ask nicely she’ll post a tutorial or start selling these. It would make for a nice, one of a kind grocery tote bag.
