My Own Creation: Amigurumi Horse

I was recently contacted by a friend to create an amigurumi animal for a newborn baby gift. I haven’t worked on any amigurumi creations for months so I jumped at the opportunity. This amigurumi horse is what came out of it! I think I’ll make another one to sell on my etsy shop, Creative Craftings. Stay tuned!

Cozy Crochet Curtain Tieback

Craftstylish has a great tutorial on how to make this Cozy Crochet Curtain Tieback. I recently moved into an apartment from the 70’s and some of the decorations are still from that timeperiod. This curtain tieback would make for a nice addition to the decorations as well as holding back my curtains to let the sun shine in. I’m in need of a new crochet project.

Mollie Flowers

I absolutely love the creations and talent of Roman Sock! These tiney Mollie Flowers are just one of the newest creations and you can create your own by downloading the tutorial. I love crocheting and crocheting tiny things is my favorite. You can probably join enough flowers to make into a coaster, pot holder or to frame.

Nerdcraft: Knit Mario Bros Pillow

Spritestitch is a great resource for all nerdy crafts, I found this really cool Knit Mario Bros pillow there! Knitting Nonni created this awesome Nintendo pillow and blogged about the process. She used a knitting machine, crocheted some of it and used knitting charts for the design. Check out her amazing work and try creating your own pillow.

Nerdcraft: Guitar Hero 3 Scarf

This has got to be the coolest scarf ever! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know about or love Guitar Hero, but this scarf would sure prove that you can rock the Hero. Meekssandygirl over at Crafster crocheted this one of a kind Guitar Hero scarf and it is to the song Knights In Cydonia by Muse. This would also make for a nice guitar strap. Check out Meekssandygirl over at etsy as well, she has some really cool crochet art.
