Cozy Crochet Curtain Tieback
Craftstylish has a great tutorial on how to make this Cozy Crochet Curtain Tieback. I recently moved into an apartment from the 70’s and some of the decorations are still from that timeperiod. This curtain tieback would make for a nice addition to the decorations as well as holding back my curtains to let the sun shine in. I’m in need of a new crochet project.

Photo Coasters
These photo coasters are a really cute and practical way to display your artwork. Or if you aren’t much of a photographer you can purchase the artist Julie Birkemeier’s work. She is a very talented photographer and crafter. The coasters are made out of a ceramic tile, cork backing and sealed with varnish. I found this link via Craftershock.

DIY Placemats
Make your own placemats out of fabric for everyday of the week. Check out Wise Craft for a tutorial. I remember making different holiday placemats when I was in elementary school out of construction paper and laminate tape. The Wise Craft placemat tutorial is a little more grown up.
