Hrrrthrrr DIY Rolling Rack

The very talented Hrrrthrrr over at tumblr posted this really cool diy rolling rack tutorial. It makes me think of a rolling rack for a Hollywood wardrobe. If you have no closet this would work as a great alternative. It would also work great when doing laundry, you’d have a place for your basket and to hang wet clothes. For only $50, I think this rolling rack would come in handy. Thanks for posting this tutorial Hrrrthrrr, check out her tumblr blog for some good music selections as well.

My Own Creation: Amigurumi Horse

I was recently contacted by a friend to create an amigurumi animal for a newborn baby gift. I haven’t worked on any amigurumi creations for months so I jumped at the opportunity. This amigurumi horse is what came out of it! I think I’ll make another one to sell on my etsy shop, Creative Craftings. Stay tuned!

Easter Peepshi

Easter is right around the corner! If you are looking for a fun food craft look no further. These awesome Peep Sushi Treats are a new way to enjoy your Easter. Peeps were definitely my favorite candy to find in my Easter basket, I was so excited when I saw this, thank you brother-in-law! Now sweets and sushi don’t really sound like they mix well, but all these ingredients are sugary; Peeps, Fruit By the Foot and Rice Krispies Treats. Yummy! Check out Serious Eats for the full tutorial and have a Happy Easter.

Advent Calendar Tree

Nice Package is a place where you can purchase creative packaging goods and customize them with your own brand. Nice Package also came up with this really neat way to display an Advent Calendar and posted a tutorial using their small manila envelopes. Inside each envelope there is a clue telling the person where to find the Advent Gift of the day. There may be two weeks left til Christmas, but it’s never too late to start counting down!

Thanksgiving Placemats

I remember making Thanksgiving placemats every year when I was in elementary school. One placemat had the hand print on it where you turn your fingers into the turkey’s feathers. Well this apple placemat is easy enough for a kid to do, but it looks so stylish! Instead of an apple you could make one with a bunch of fruits and veggies, a cornocopia or a turkey. Check out Book Hour Craft Projects blog for the full tutorial.
