Inside each envelope there is a clue telling the person where to find the Advent Gift of the day. There may be two weeks left til Christmas, but it’s never too late to start counting down!

I remember making Thanksgiving placemats every year when I was in elementary school. One placemat had the hand print on it where you turn your fingers into the turkey’s feathers. Well this apple placemat is easy enough for a kid to do, but it looks so stylish! Instead of an apple you could make one with a bunch of fruits and veggies, a cornocopia or a turkey. But, I think it would be cool to create your own label design and paste it on there. These could make great holiday gifts. Looking for a diy gift to give this holiday season? Make a Snowman Kit this year! This is such a cute idea, and would make a great gift for someone who lives up in the snowy states unlike me! I can’t get over what a cool idea this is, all you need are some buttons, a scarf, top hat, black rocks, and a fake carrot. I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! I made my own last minute Halloween Wreath after seeing A Forest Frolic’s wreath. Michael’s had run out of most of their Halloween section so I had very little to choose from, luckily I found a little plush vampire and witch to put on my wreath, with spiderweb ribbon and black roses. This project probably only took me 1hr to complete. I can’t wait to put it up again next year!

I’ve been looking for the perfect Halloween decoration for my door. I wasn’t all that smitten by any of the decorations at the stores, so I decided to search for a diy decoration. A Forest Frolic has the perfect decoration for my door and there is even a tutorial. Check out the Spooky Halloween Wreath tutorial! I love the black leaves and dark purple roses, I especially love the glitter and skulls!

I love the words “No Sew”! Not that I don’t like sewing I just don’t have a sewing machine and hand sewing isn’t quick enough. Anyways, this No Sew Flutter Cape is sooo cute! Apartment Therapy has a great tutorial on how to make a pixelated painting out of paint chips, just like this one of Marylin Monroe. You could also make it a real painting with oils or acrylics. Check out this Abraham Lincoln painting that was the original inspiration of the paint chips artwork. This would make a great addition to my apartment, I’ve got some bare walls.
